Experience:

Primary consultant for architectural acoustics and building noise control problems, including room acoustics, isolation, and HVAC noise.

Field measurements and investigations in environmental noise.

Brings to his work the unique perspectives of a professional musician and strong talents in computer applications as well as his engineering training.

Has developed for the firm a wealth of programs, macros, and spreadsheets to aid in analysis and data processing.

Joe served on the Board of NCAC 2011-18 representing Individual Members and is now Vice President for Finance of NCAC.

A past Chair of the North Carolina Chapter of the Acoustical Society of America now serving as Treasurer.

Active in ASHRAE especially in the update of the standard for the Design of High Performance Green Buildings

Has presented several papers to chapter meetings, and presented papers at national meetings of ASA NoiseCon and Inter-noise.
